Show From the lyrics to the stage

Women have always been behind the lyrics put to music, but our representative place and recognition in the music scene are still limited. We also served as inspiration for great part of the Beatles music. The show “from the lyrics to the stage” portrays the feminine through the immortal songs of the boys from Liverpool. But, this time, we are the ones with the voice.

This  AROTR “super group” formed for AROTR Cleveland 2013 because these Janne, Joe, Kevin, Michael, Peter and Steve always wanted to perform together and since Janne was coming without a band, BOACS was born. The show is drawn from an old Repeatles setlist with the addition of suggestions from the boys in order to feature lead vocals from everyone. And that is the main focus: lots of harmony vocals on songs from the Byrds, the Band, the Raspeberries, the Who and the Kinks.

Electric Light Orchestra began when three members of the Birmingham, England band The Move created ELO as a side project in 1970. They envisioned a hybrid rock/orchestral group with a sound that picked up where The Beatles had left off on songs like I Am The Walrus. ELO’s roster changed numerous times over the years, with no fewer than 18 members contributing to the band’s sound.

We also served as inspiration for great part of the Beatles music. The show “from the lyrics to the stage” portrays the feminine through the immortal songs of the boys from Liverpool. But, this time, we are the ones with the voice.
